Ecology in Classrooms and Outdoors
I developed a custom-templated WordPress site for this environmental education group with an integrated membership and learning management system. After growing its audience by almost 300% in the first year, it became clear that the basic blog site was not going to support the growth of this organization. The new site boasts interactive design and tiered memberships, so that public users can access certain curricula for free, while grant-funded programming is released on an invite-only basis to participating school districts.
Each lesson had an ecological theme and showcased interactive content that dynamically scaled for mobile platforms. Lessons were searchable by theme and also suggested similar content to users.

I focus on developing visually appealing and user-oriented websites. For ECO, I built a WordPress site to support their growing online audience. My skills allow me to combine aesthetic with User Experience to improve online engagement. Whether designing an online store or an educational site, I focus on user interactions and business goals. I also set up and managed servers, and improved SEO to reach the right audience.

In addition to integrating Shopify, I incorporated a learning management system (LMS) into the new web platform. I developed system workflows to facilitate seamless data management utilizing the existing customer relations management (CRM) software.
By converting existing content into online courses and establishing an engaging platform, the organization successfully tripled its audience and generated a new revenue stream through these courses.

Rebranded all external assets, encompassing print and digital materials, products, and curriculum. Managed all project aspects related to communication content, overseeing final edits and the publishing calendar. Updated existing assets to align with the new brand identity, which included launching a custom website. In business development, established and managed new revenue streams through online lesson subscriptions and video rentals.
